I lived in Colorado and the seashells are not from when the ice caps melted. Most of them are from the Late Cretaceous when the entire middle of the Continent was the bottom of a sea. The Rocky mountains had not yet become what they are today. Tectonic forces have pushed them up. If you go to the mountains by Golden (home of Coors Beer)you can find dinosaur foot prints in what was a beach. They are now almost vertical. It is true that there were no caps at hte end of the Cretaceous, in fact it is actually uncommon for there to be permanent sea ice in Earth's history. we have them now due to continental drift hauling Antartica to the Southern Pole. It has been warmer than today through most of Earth's history, and we are technically still warming up from the little ice age. You can also find shells much older and much higher in elevation throughout the Rockies.
The motivation for the global warming crowd is simple...money. Al Gore has made more than 35 million dollars selling carbon credits. The UN has made billions. They have also had to admit it is actually cooling. Stand by for the next cooling scare.

lol. That's simply amazing. Rather than allow their children to be open-minded and free thinkers, they'd rather control their thoughts. I mean, heaven forbid a child actually want to sit down and read a book and actually start thinking about what it says!!!

Col. Daughtry is my great uncle. He did take time to share multiple stories with our family. He was in my mind a true American hero.I have a black and white 8x10 on my wall at work and hope that I can be half the man that he was. Thank you for your observance.

Interesting find. Bill Clinton certainly has his way of using the English language... although, I like the term "revisionism"... puts it quite nicely, doesn't it?
